Black Santa: a Little Film with a Big Heart

Hello everyone! I’m back from an unplanned hiatus, and I’m reading to dive into the ‘Ber months with my Christmas cheer. Today’s episode is a fun one – I start things off talking about my crazy August and a misadventure with a bat. Then I open the mail bag and share some emails that have come my way.

The majority of the episode is then given over to a discussion with the filmmakers from the recent short film “Black Santa”. Writer-Director Travis Wood and writer Weston Auburn talk to me about how the film came about, the message they hope it inspires, and the importance of representation.
