Santa Claus the Movie is what you’d call an 80’s cult classic. It’s a Christmas movie that most people don’t like, but I find it a major guilty pleasure.

Learn why I defend this movie, along with going into the history of the Salkind family, which involves Greta Garbo, a Japanese monster movie, the Three Musketeers and how the production of Superman would set in many of the ideas that would be reused on Santa Claus the Movie.
