This one is a very special episode where I’m going to talk all about Olentzero, the Basque gift-giving giant from the Pyrenees! Such a long oral history exists in the Basque region and Olentzero is a wonderfully unique character. In this episode we dive into the history of the region at winter/Christmas time and some of the things that make this character and this region so unique!
