Food of “A Christmas Carol”

One can’t go through the holiday season without hearing, seeing, or listening to a version of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” It is often held up to be one of the quintessential markers of the traditional holiday meal.  I’ve talked about some of the food in the story and how it may have come from America.
