Happy Wednesday, Christmas Fanatics!
We are back with what is becoming a favorite staple of our annual Spooky Season celebrations: 2026’s Tis the Podcast Ultimate Horror Movie Bracket!
This year, Anthony is joined by: Kendall and Misty of Two Girls, One Crypt, Matt of North Pole Radio, and Ron, Lindsey, and Ryan of Film Strip Podcast for the ultimate championship bracket to debate, argue, and ultimately figure out which horror movie will take the crown of what we deem 2026’s ultimate horror film!
We’re switching things up a bit this year though! Instead of Anthony choosing all of the movies for the competition, each show gets their own devision! So North Pole Radio picked all of the films to face off against one another in the Northwest Division, Film Strip Podcast all of the movies in the Southwest Division, Two Girls, One Crypt the Northeast Division, and Tis the Podcast the Southeast Division! It makes for a wide, eclectic range of movies that are definitely representative of the tastes of each show, and makes for some epic debates as the competition gets whittled down!
As always, this episode is an absolute marathon, clocking in at over eleven hours so it’ll definitely keep you occupied for a few days at work and a few commutes in the lead up to Halloween! But we promise that, as always, it’s filled with laughs, good-natured ribbing, and tons of excellent insight and opinions on some of the greatest(?) films in horror movie history. Trust us when we say this is one you definitely do not want to miss!
We poured a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this one and appreciate you not only listening, but sharing it too! So settle back with your pumpkin spice lattes, hit that share button, press play, relax, and enjoy! As always, thanks for your love and support, y’all! ❤️🍂🎃🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🚂🔔 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

Happy Ber Months, everybody! The seasons are starting to change, and with it comes a new episode of Christmas Creeps! On this episode we dip into the world of Charles Dickens with a look at Robert Zemeckis’ 2009 CGI adaptation of “A Christmas Carol”. This one stars Jim Carrey and, because it was bankrolled by Disney, has earned itself the title Disney’s A Christmas Carol, even though Disney’s made plenty of versions of it over the years…
But let’s not let semantics get in the way of a good time, right? On this episode we’ll be discussing the ways Zemeckis uses his CGI superpowers to stretch Jim Carrey’s face and Charles Dickens’ story in new, unnecessary directions. And hey, if you make it to the end of this one, ya get a little bit of video game chat as a treat!

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!
After catching up Colburn family reunions, talking about Anthony’s experience at Halloween Horror Nights 35, catching up on movies, and giving their reaction to HBO’s latest trailer for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Julia and Anthony continue this journey through Spooky Season 2026 by discussing a bonafide Halloween classic: 1980’s, Friday the 13th. Another first time watch for Julia, and one that’s been part of Anthony’s life for the majority of it, how does this one compare to A Nightmare on Elm Street? And does it even resemble whatsoever the franchise it would eventually become? Tune in to find out! Trust us when we say this is one episode you wanna be sure not to miss!

Title: You See, Jason Was My Son. And Today Is His Birthday. (Friday the 13th [1980])

PARENTAL WARNING: DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE WITH CHILDREN PRESENT!
What’s up, dudes? We’re closer to Christmas, so we’re gonna have a watch-along party for the absolute classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. I’ve got CJ Bélanger from Rose Suchak Ladder, Jeff Loftin from Lost Christmas podcast, and Jeremy Phelps the Alamo City Santa with me to provide commentary and enjoy the ride!
The story chronicles the seasonal psychosis of the Grinch, a green, cave-dwelling misanthrope whose undersized cardiovascular organ has left him irrationally enraged by the annual Christmas festivities of the Whos down in Whoville. Unable to tolerate another year of singing, feasting, and unsolicited noise pollution, the furry sociopath disguises himself as Santa Claus, turns his long-suffering dog Max into a discount reindeer, and launches a one-man Yuletide home-invasion spree. Throughout the night, the Grinch burglarizes an entire town, stealing everything from presents and stockings to Christmas trees, food, and apparently even the last can of Who-hash. His crime wave is briefly interrupted by Cindy-Lou Who, a dangerously trusting toddler whom he deceives with an easily disproven story about repairing her Christmas tree. After hauling the stolen merchandise to the top of Mount Crumpit for ceremonial disposal, the Grinch discovers that the Whos are somehow celebrating Christmas without any consumer goods whatsoever. This revelation causes his heart to spontaneously triple in size, granting him superhuman strength and presumably creating an immediate medical emergency. Newly rehabilitated, the Grinch returns the stolen property, receives absolutely no legal consequences for dozens of felony burglaries, and is inexplicably invited to Christmas dinner, where the former domestic terrorist is given the ceremonial honor of carving the roast beast.
Roast beast? Check. Loveable curmudgeon? Yep. Bassiest bass voice that ever bassed? It’s grrreeaat! So make your own Santa suit, hop on your ramshackle sleigh, and climb down the chimney to this episode on “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”

Title: 103 Days, Why Rovaniemi feels like Christmas

Merry Christmas you beautiful people!
We start the show with a version of A Christmas Carol. This is a sketch from Saturday Night Live and features Jimmy Falon as a young Scrooge.
You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb36BwPa7pQ
Then it’s Do You Hear What I Hear? and Bob Baker is looking at the word ‘row’ (when it rhymes with ‘cow’).
Next up is The Christmas Quiz. I scored 9, make sure to email me your score.
Then Bob returns with Where Are You Christmas? and ,thanks to our Scandinavian American correspondent Benji Pearson, he’s found it in Utah.
Check out Bob’s podcast here: https://4fpodcast.buzzsprout.com
As a little tribute to the late great Dolly Parton we look at one of here Christmas singles. It’s called Cuddle Up, Cozy Down Christmas and it features Micheal Buble.
You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClqKogp7cCk
