Every two weeks we look at Christmas history, memories and music and feels, all starting with one letter of the alphabet.

Happy Christmas in July! I’m back from vacation and ready to count down the next 6 months to Christmas. We’re going to get things started by talking about a couple of book related things. I also recommend a new Christmas novel I came across recently that I really enjoyed.

Our story today is called “The Christmas Dream and How It Came True” by Louisa May Alcott. It’s a really sweet story about a young girl named Effie who learns a valuable lesson about giving. Is it more blessed to give than to recieve? Effie is about to find out.
