Tis the Podcast

Merry Christmas, holiday fanatics! Can you believe that after a tremendously long year of counting down to this day that we are finally here? We sure can’t, but we’re as excited to celebrate as everyone else!

We hope Santa was good to all of you, but he’s not the only one with a present for you this year! In this special Christmas Day episode of the show, join Julia, Thom, and Anthony as they gather  to discuss Season 2 of the legacy sequel series, “The Santa Clauses“!

As you might remember, all three elves have a special place in their heart for the original “The Santa Clause“, soft spots for its two theatrical sequels, and enjoy Season One of the show! So what do they think of this controversial, and seemingly divisive, Second Season? Well, it turns out they like it more than a lot of people do! Is that purely due to nostalgia or do they think the story – which they speculate may be the last in the franchise –  has a lot going on its own merits? You’ll just have to tune in to find out! And who knows? Maybe their discussion may change some of your minds and have you looking at it in a different way!

So after you unwrap your gifts and have enjoyed your Christmas feasts, settle into your favorite chair beside the glow of your Christmas tree, put your feet up, relax, and enjoy this very festive episode! And

As always, thanks for your love and support, y’all! We’re looking forward to counting down to Christmas 2024 with all of you! ❤️🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

Title: Christmas Podcast Network All-Star Comedy Christmas Show!

Merry Christmas to all of our Festive Fans!  The boys celebrate Christmas today by considering the uplifting Ukrainian song and the movie Carol of the Bells or “Schedryk”.  The story takes place in the years preceding and during World War II and features three different families who are living as neighbors in a large house.  They are different nationalities and religions, and all experience death, violence and inhumanity.  It may seem like an odd choice for the holiday, but at its heart, it is a story about humanity, sacrifice, and kindness. What better message at Christmas than one about always having hope and finding light in the darkest of times, which was true then and is still true today.  Our effort this December was to feature Russia and Ukraine to highlight the spirit of brotherhood and unity that naturally exists in this region and throughout the world.  Our Christmas wish for the new year is for peace in the Ukraine and all of the areas across the globe currently under siege.  We can live as the families do at the beginning of the movie – each culturally unique but still sharing and enjoying our diverse music, food and traditions.  There is a healing power in joy, and so today embrace this simple, but compelling message:  glory to God in the highest and on earth  peace, good will toward men.

Merry Christmas, Creepazoids! The big day is finally here! On this episode, Joe is joined by his fiancée Nikki to share a few of their favorite Adult Swim Christmas episodes.

Nikki brings us “Dethmas”, the Christmas episode of Metalocalypse, in which heavy metal band Dethklok get unwittingly roped into not only taking part in a TV Christmas special, but also into entertaining their mothers for Christmas. It’s brutal. Then, Joe comes bearing the gift of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and “Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future”, the single greatest episode title in television history.

To all our listeners, thank you so much for making us a part of your podcast rotation. 2023 has been a bit of a rocky year for us here at Christmas Creeps, but we’ve still tried to bring you the most entertaining, ridiculous Christmas media podcast of them all. We couldn’t do this without you. So have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we’ll see you in 2024!

Welcome to episode 99 of Holly Jolly X’masu! In this episode, I talk about the mind-blowing 1971 album, “Rock-In X’mas,” by Love, Live, Life + X.

Merry Christmas! I hope this lived up to your expectations and helped liven up your day. Other than some really obscure cassettes and small or private label albums, there aren’t too many Japanese Christmas albums that are harder to come by than this one. This was a real holy grail for me, and I’m glad I can finally share it with you.

Join me back here on New Year’s Eve for my special 100th episode. For this year’s New Year’s bonus episode, I’ll be covering the 1971 album, “Last Chance’s Explosive Sound: White Christmas – Instrumental Music For Go Go Dancing,” by the obscure Korean rock band, Last Chance. It features one of the most amazing versions of “Jingle Bells” ever recorded. You really don’t want to miss it.

As always, any feedback on this episode would be appreciated. If have any suggestions, or if you’d like to recommend a song or album for a future episode, drop me a line and let me know.

Remember, I’ve added a button to my Ko-fi page. If you’d like to support me one cup of coffee at a time, a donation is only $3. I’ve also opened a Redbubble store. I only have a couple designs up, but keep an eye on it as I’ll be trying to add more. Half of any proceeds or donations received will be donated to support the people of Ukraine, while the rest will be used to purchase new Japanese Christmas music to review for future episodes. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. And if you get a chance, leave me a review on iTunes. Thanks!

What’s up, dudes? It’s the show that made slime a household thing on Nickelodeon! Yes, I’m talking “You Can’t DonThat On Television” with the Christmas Cousins, Chad and Seth!

In “Christmas,” the YCDTOT cast conjure up holiday hilarity in typical sketch comedy fashion. The sketches are only thirty to sixty seconds, though. Starring the great Les Lye and Abby Hagyard, and featuring the talents of Christine McGlade, Alistair Gillis, Lisa Ruddy, and more, the sketches were fun and envelope-pushing!

Dungeon master Nasti catches his prisoner trying to escape and later gets another prisoner water skis! El Capitano tries to execute Santa by firing squad! Snake-Eyes is grateful to be rid of his bus and the children for two weeks!

Meanwhile, Alistair schemes to get kissed under the mistletoe. Christine concurrently plots to get Christmas bonuses and money for a cast party. Ross also dresses as Santa and gets stuck in a chimney. And of course—slime!

Live turkey? Check. Mistletoe helmet? Yep. Saying, “Trick or treat,” while caroling? Definitely! So grab your Santa suit, give your captor a bomb, and jump out of your locker to this episode on “You Can’t Do That on Television!”

🎄It’s 1984, and Ebenezer Scrooge is threatening to raise his asking price for a warehouse full of corn.

This Christmas Eve episode not only drops on a Scrooge Sunday, but it’s also the Advent Calendar House’s 150th episode. To celebrate, I let listeners vote for which “Christmas Carol” adaptation to cover, and the winner by a large margin was the 1984 TV movie starring George S. Scott, along with original “Equalizer” Edward Woodward as an exceptionally sassy Ghost of Christmas Present, and we even spotted our favorite Alfred Pennyworth, Michael Gough, as a not-so-portly gentleman seeking charity donations.

Happy Christmas Eve, everybody! Can you believe tomorrow’s the big day and that Santa’s already set out on his annual trip!?

To celebrate the occasion, please enjoy our annual Christmas Eve story, in which the elves read Ivan Cohen’s “Batman Returns: One Dark Christmas Eve“, the children’s adaptation of the Tim Burton holiday classic, “Batman Returns“, illustrated by J.J. Harrison! While this storybook is written to be read to the tune of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen“, have no fear – the elves have no intention of making your ears bleed today and thus don’t sing the tale as it’s meant to be delivered!

So take a break from the wrapping, settle back with your favorite holiday drink beside your Christmas tree in order to bask in its glow, and enjoy!

As always, thanks for your love and support, y’all! Make sure to check your feeds tomorrow – Monday, December 25th, Christmas Day itself – for our episode on season two of the legacy sequel series, “The Santa Clauses“!

Have a very Merry Christmas! We hope you have an amazing one, filled with food, drinks, laughter, and loved ones, and we hope that the big man in red brings you everything you asked for! We’re looking forward to counting down to Christmas 2024 with all of y’all! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🚂🔔 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️
