Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the sleigh…
The Christmas Cousins are known for asking the questions, running the sleigh, and guiding guests through merry terrain. But not this time. No, cousins—the tables have officially turned.
In this hotly anticipated Part 2 interview extravaganza, the brilliant and beloved Cousin Chris from the wildly popular site ChristmasEveryMinute.com returns—not as a guest, but as an interviewer. That’s right. He’s steering the sleigh and putting Cousins Chad and Seth in the hot seat.
Expect probing questions, hilarious detours, surprising revelations, and perhaps even a festive scandal or two. What’s it really like behind the scenes of the Christmas Cousins podcast? Who is the real Grinch of the duo? And can Cousin Seth explain how he still doesn’t have a Christmas tree or an advent calendar?
This is the follow-up no one knew we needed—but now can’t live without.
An instant classic? You bet your mistletoe it is.
Don’t miss this celebration of curiosity, chaos, and Cousin chemistry.

It’s the post-Summit wrap-up you didn’t know you needed but absolutely deserve. Cousin Chad recently joined the legendary Christmas Aficionado’s Christmas Summit on YouTube—a roundtable of elite holiday minds including Kacy from The Heart of Hallmarks Review Show, Daniela from Hit or Miss Hallmark and Dan from Deck the Hallmark.
Their task? Pick the most underrated Hallmark movies worthy of Top 100 status.
This episode had it all. A lively chat group, a mix of literary gravitas, mythological metaphors, and passionate picks. But there was too much cheer, chaos, and comedy for just one appearance. So we’re bringing it home.
This week on the pod, we’re joined by the Christmas Aficionado himself, Joe, plus the King of All Superfans, Cousin Lee, and of course Cousin Seth—who gets a surprise movie assignment live on air from the Summit list!
We’ll break down the highlights, relive the wildest moments, and dive deeper into the conversation. Who made the best arguments? Did Chad really compare Hallmark hunks to Homeric heroes? Will Cousin Seth survive his next movie journey? And most importantly—can we keep the Christmas vibes going strong through spring?
You decide, Cousins.
We want to hear from YOU, our fellow Christmas Cousins!
262 Days until Christmas. This week I’m going to cover 6 quotable lines from some of my favorite Christmas movies. This episode is a great line from The Polar Express

This week, the elves gather to discuss the 2024, Netflix original holiday film, “The Merry Gentlemen“! Does this slightly more risqué version of a Hallmark movie have enough heart to give your hosts all of the Christmas feels? Is there a difference between a strip club and a male revue? And will this film enter anyone’s holiday canon? You’ll just have to tune in to find out!
So sit back, relax, and enjoy this festive episode that we guarantee is the perfect way to kickstart your week! Enjoy! As always, thanks for your love and support, y’all! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🚂🔔 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

What’s up, dudes? I’ve got Mike Westfall from Advent Calendar House here with me during this Passiontide to talk the Rankin Bass Easter special shown throughout the ’80s, “Here Comes Peter Cottontail”! There’s a hyper-color witch, a time machine, and the longest Easter egg delivering contest ever! If you’re wondering if a French caterpillar with a human head can drive a time machine, the answer is yes!
The Chief Easter Bunny is looking for a replacement. Just as he’s about to name Peter Cottontail his successor, though, mean ol’ Irontail suggests an egg-giving contest to decide. Due to sabotage, Peter oversleeps and Irontail wins! Peter leaves in disgrace, but runs into Seymour S. Sassafras, who lends him a time machine.
Once again Irontail sabotages Peter, and he’s launched into the future rather than the past. Hopping from holiday to holiday, Peter tries to give away his eggs dressed as various holiday mascots. Unfortunately, it seems that no one wants eggs on holidays other than Easter!
Peter is on the verge of success when Irontail uses a spell to turn his eggs green. Distraught, Peter tries one last ditch effort on St. Patrick’s Day, and the green eggs are gleefully welcomed by the Irish revelers! Peter wins the contest, learns a lesson about making food choices and not fibbing, and becomes the new Chief Easter Bunny!
So grab your eggs and paints, dress up like your favorite holiday mascot, and put on this episode on “Here Comes Peter Cottontail” as you drive your yestermorrowmobile!

The Festive Fans are on spring break, so we are veering off our main road to take a new scenic route. Instead of exploring a foreign country this episode, we are setting the way back machine 65 years to a magical time of those grand scale, over the top, larger than life films, with a literal army of extras and actors who don’t just act—they command the screen. We are instantly being transported back to Ancient Rome to witness the Biblical drama of Ben Hur.
Why, you might wonder, has your favorite podcast abandoned its Christmas pretense to tackle this epic Hollywood classic — trading in snow and boots for sandals and capes? Well, while we love our cookies and eggnog, there are still times when we crave a jellybean or a Cadbury egg. So, we have set off on a seasonal side quest to learn about the pastel fever dream that is spring’s answer to Christmas – yes, we are talking about Easter! It’s still festive, full of sugar, and a good holiday-themed excuse to listen to ourselves talk. Think of it less like changing discussion topics and more like taking a holiday from our holiday… to talk about another holiday!
So, set down your bunny tail, grab a Peep and let’s kick back to enjoy the heavy eyeliner, dramatic pauses, and some wacky foreign Easter customs. Ze smelten de Paashaas!
