Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! We hope all the dads out there had a wonderful father’s day, and we hope all of our American listeners are taking some time this long weekend to reflect on the real meaning and history of Juneteenth as you enjoy your extra day off!

While Julia may still be enjoying a fabulous Disney World vacation with her family, Anthony and Thom decided to record solo to ensure that y’all didn’t go another week without a new episode!

What do Pirates of the Pancreas, Terminator-esque alien snakes, lightsabers dropped perfectly vertically, and uncut versions of “Miracle on 34th Street” all have in common? Christmas celebrations at the Smith-Sanchez house! That’s right! This week, Thom and Anthony are delving into the holiday episodes of the extremely popular – and extremely adult – cartoon, “Rick and Morty“!

For those who want to follow along at home, the episodes covered this week are:

  • Season 1 – Episode 3 – Anatomy Park
  • Season 4 – Episode 5 – Rattlestar Ricklactica
  • Season 6 – Episode 10 – Ricktional Mortpoon’s Rickmas Mortcation

This is an episode that’s full of laughs, quotes, and definite adult content, so you most-definitely want to listen to this one without any young children present! As for what Anthony and Thom think of “Rick and Morty” in general? You’ll just have to tune in to find out – though the answer may surprise you!

Also discussed this episode: “Harry Potter” camp, A.I., Disney’s live action remake of “The Little Mermaid“, and much, much more! So, settle in beside the air conditioning to simulate those cool Ber-Month evenings, relax, and enjoy this fun installment of “Tis the Podcast“! And, as always, thanks for your love and support, y’all! Wubalubadubdub! ❤️ 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy June! The year is flying by as fast as Santa and his reindeer do on Christmas Eve!

And speaking of Santa…

In this episode, Julia, Thom, and Anthony are joined by Santa Claus himself, Mr. Matt Spaulding of “North Pole Radio“! After catching up on their weeks and laughing about a specific targeted ad that appeared in front of the “Dennis the Menace” episode last week that none of the elves would have willingly put in front of it, the four hosts travel back in time to the nineties to discuss the Chrismukkah episodes of, “The Nanny“!

If you’d like to follow along, the entire series is available to stream on “Max” and the episodes covered are:

  • Season 1, Episode 7: “Christmas Episodes”
  • Season 3, Episode 14: “Oy to the World”
  • Season 6, Episode 10: “The Hanukkah Story”

Listen as the hosts break down their histories, the cast, and laugh about the exploits that Nanny Fine, Niles the Butler, the dastardly C.C. Babcock, and the entire Sheffield brood get up to in these high-quality holiday episodes! All of this and much, much more are discussed in this extremely fun installment of the show – filled with quotes galore – that you want to make sure not to miss!

So settle back, blast that air conditioner so you can close your eyes and pretend we’re smack dab in the middle of the holiday season, and enjoy! As always, thanks for your love and support, y’all! ❤️ 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

Side-Note: While the elves say in this episode we’ll be on hiatus the next two weeks, due to Julia’s Disney Vacation, Anthony and Thom may get together to record alone so we don’t miss the next few weeks! So make sure to keep your eyes on your main feeds the next two Mondays!

This week, join Julia, Thom, and Anthony as they discuss the 2007, straight-to-home-video film, “A Dennis the Menace Christmas“! Very similar in many ways to “Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish“, does this one hold up better as a holiday movie for the elves, or is it of the same abysmal quality? Well, you’ll just have to tune in to find out!

Enjoy, y’all! As always, thanks for your love and support!

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!

This week, Julia, Thom, and Anthony are traveling across the pond to discuss the 2021, apocalyptic, dark-comedy Christmas film, “Silent Night“! It’s a fascinating discussion full of philosophical questions because this is the type of movie that raises them. Our usual question remains, however: Is this a Christmas movie or merely a movie set at Christmas? You’ll just have to tune in to find out!

Also discussed: [HBO] Max’s “Harry Potter” reboot; “True Detective” Season 2; Season 3 of “The Mandalorian“; the upcoming “The Penguin” and “The Conjuring” television series; next year’s theatrical adaptation of the beloved Broadway show, “Wicked“; the horror movie podcast, “Ruined!“; and much, much more!

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!

Due to the elves’ busy work schedules, we couldn’t get a new episode recorded this week! But never fear! We have a timely, once patreon-exclusive episode dropping for you!

This past week, [HBO] Max confirmed they are moving forward with a television adaptation of the “Harry Potter” books, adapting one book per season and producing all seven seasons over the course of a decade! Naturally, this elicited a lot of excitement online, and fan-casting has been running rampant!

Well, back in February, when rumors of a potential “Harry Potter” remake began swirling around, Julia, Thom, and Anthony gathered to recast the main adult characters in the series for the then hypothetical series!

We know what you’re thinking! Could anyone ever possibly top Alan Rickman as Snape, Dame Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall, or any of the other incredible, British alumni that were part of the original cast? Probably not. But, we do our best to cast excellent actors and actresses in their own right to follow in those iconic footsteps, adhering slightly closer to the descriptions, personalities, and age ranges as established in J.K. Rowling’s beloved book series. The only limitations we set for ourselves were: we couldn’t choose the same actor for a role they played previously; and we wouldn’t limit ourselves to British thespians. The result? Three very different, but equally as fun, fan-cast lists that we think you’ll all enjoy!

So, settle back and enjoy this super fun blast from the recent past you want to be sure not to miss! As always, thanks for your love and support! We love y’all! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

Happy Monday, Christmas fanatics! We hope you all had a wonderful Easter and hope that the Easter Bunny was good to you all!

This week, Julia, Anthony, and the effervescent Natalie Bickel (that’s right, Thom is M.I.A. this week due to dad duties) travel to the north pole to visit the most famous reindeer of all and discuss his 1998, theatrically released film, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie“!

Does the ’90’s animation style inject enough nostalgia into the three hosts to make up for the fact that this film has all but disappeared in recent years? How does it fare against the iconic 1964, Rankin/Bass special in their minds, and how does it differ in terms of story? And what exactly has that Busy Bee, Natalie Bickel, been up to since the last time she appeared on the show? All of these answers, and much more, are divulged in this week’s episode!

So, settle in and relax because “the mood is right, the spirit’s up, we’re here tonight, and that’s enough” to inject this Mid-April Monday with some much needed Christmas cheer! Enjoy, y’all! As always, thanks for your love and support! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️
