Happy Monday, Christmas fanatics! This week, the elves journey back to the wonderful world of Disney to cover the 1997, straight to VHS, animated midquel, “Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas”!
Does the midquel conceit work better than Disney’s other straight to home video sequels they did in the ’90s, or does it ruin the charm of the original 1991 masterpiece? And while Anthony has a lot of nostalgia wrapped up in this one, Thom and Julia don’t, so how does it play for them? Either way, one thing’s for sure, there’s a lot of love for this film amongst the listeners of “Tis the Podcast” – will the elves, once again, disappoint them with their ultimate rating? Find out in this fun episode where, regardless of where the elves fall on this movie, their love for Disney is evident!
Enjoy, y’all! And keep your eyes on your feeds this upcoming Thursday for the next installment of “Another Christmas Story” – Chapter Fifteen, which will be read to you by listener Michelle Kidwell of the “Horribly Genius“ podcast!

Learn how his consistent work would inspire him to write White Christmas. Also see how Bing Crosby, who was dominating the radio scene, would be selected to debut White Christmas and set up the negotiation for Holiday Inn.

Finally, I read a Christmas story entitled, “The Canned Plum Pudding” by Ellis Parker Butler. Have you ever had a regifting experience that went horribly wrong? Let this story serve as a lesson for you, and think twice before you send that gift off to someone else.
