Ken Kessler from the Sounds of Christmas talks to singer/rapper/songwriter AdELA about All Star Kid and their latest release, A Thankfully Spooktacular Halloween. They talk about what All Star Kid is all about, and the new album, which features songs about Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! AdELA also talks about some of the upcoming projects for All Star Kid, including (possibly) more holiday music next year! And though a little off topic, she also shares details of one of her songs being picked by the NHL as the official Stanley Cup song!

Christmas Alphabet is about Christmas, all year round, all in alphabetical order.
Every two weeks we look at Christmas history, stories and music, starting with just one letter of the alphabet. We have a world-wide view from a British perspective.
The podcast is written and hosted by Wayne Clarke – an author, broadcaster and Baptist pastor in Manchester, UK.
This time we face the challenge of all things Christmas starting with the letter Y.
There’s Yule and the Yule Log, both chocolate and wooden. We have some yuletide songs such as You Make It Feel Like Christmas, The Yorkshire Wassail and You’re a Mean One, Mr Grinch.

Just in time for Halloween, Ken Kessler from the Sounds of Christmas talked to Lasse from the It’s A 90’s Christmas Podcast and Sean from the Christmas Podcasts Podcast about the scariest this podcast has ever talked about – the Star Wars Holiday Special! They talk about the music, the guest stars and why they believe the whole thing was a scam! In fact, they take such a deep dive into this special, that they talk about it for nearly as long as the special ran! Well, about half as long.

Every year Her Majesty the Queen sits down on Christmas Day at 3PM (GMT) to address the nation and the Commonwealth nations delivering her Queen’s Speech.
Sadly we lost the Queen in September, so I decided to take a look at the history of the Queen’s Speech including the first televised production of it.
This year’s speech will be very different, this time delivered by King Charles III.
The speech serves a reminder of the joys of Christmas aswell as the meaning behind it.
Hope you enjoy it.
