Santa Announces the Tracker Recruitment Goal for 2021 2

In a press conference held at the North Pole Santa announced the tracker elf recruitment goal for Christmas 2021. It is a stunning goal that has taken the entire North Pole by surprise.

The Tracker Elf program, as Santa calls it, is in it’s 5th year. Through the program Santa recruits believers from all over the world to “track Santa for Santa”.

Last year more than 55 million believers world-wide took up the challenge to become an elf all in the name of helping Santa get around the world. These elves report local conditions while Santa is in flight that aid him in delivery. They report to North Pole Flight Command on everything from the weather to the condition of rooftops in their local neighborhoods.

This up-to-the-minute reporting not only helps to keep Santa safe but it also speeds up his sleigh.

The recruiting goal is a highly anticipated target and the press conference announcing the yearly goal has become a traditional event. In this special episode the live radio news report from North Pole Radio News is shared in its entirety and features the voices of Santa, Elf Frank Myrrh of North Pole Radio News, Elf Crash Murphy, Elf Roger Star, Elf Sandy Claus and Elf John Pringle.

Tis the Podcast

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! This week, the elves are joined by Kendall Farrae of “For Forks Sake” podcast to journey to “Schitt’s Creek” and cover the one holiday episode of the beloved Canadian comedy, Season 4, Episode 13, “Merry Christmas, Johnny Rose”!

In this laugh-a-minute, quote-filled episode, listen as the elves discuss their histories with this brilliant show, what makes it so special, their favorite projects the cast have participated in in the past, and much more. And not only do they answer whether or not this episode of TV is actually a Christmas special and has a Linus moment, but Julia must also answer – as a newcomer who has never experienced this sitcom before, was it good enough to make her want to watch the entire series?

And in addition to all of the “Schitt’s Creek” talk, there’s discussion about the “Twilight Saga“, the elves address listener Danielle Essary’s suggestion that they dedicate every October to covering Halloween content instead of Christmas content, and they answer the question of the week posed in the prior two episodes: “Is there a non-Christmas movie that’s not even set at Christmas that you watch every year around the holidays?”

So blast that air-conditioning to simulate a winter environment, cozy up on the couch with your favorite warm beverage, and enjoy this very entertaining episode we can guarantee you do not want to miss! And if you want even more, free “Tis the Podcast” content, make sure to check your feeds this upcoming Thursday for the next installment of “Another Christmas Story” – Chapter Twenty-Four: Let It Snow! Title: Back to the Future: Dickens of a Christmas

Welcome to a special bonus episode of A Cozy Christmas Podcast.

Today, I’ll begin reading one of my favorite Christmas novellas, The Christmas Hirelings by Mary Elizabeth Braddon.

Though it was published closer to the end of the Victorian period in 1894, it captures all the hallmarks of a Victorian story, overflowing with sentimentality – but there are some wonderful Christmasy scenes as well.

It tells the story of a lonely, gruff widower Sir John Penlyon as he spends Christmas with his friend Danby and his niece Adela. Danby points out how Christmas is dull without children around, and Sir John agrees. Danby quickly hatches a scheme to find some children to hire to bring into Sir John’s lonely house. Will the children bring some much needed joy to Sir John’s life?

In today’s episode, we begin with the prologue that sets the story up, and then chapters 1-2 explain Sir John’s backstory and why he has become so withdrawn and gruff. In next week’s chapters, we will pick up where the prologue left off and find out what happens when the children arrive at Penlyon Place.

Enjoy!
